Shortly after winning Norway’s Melody Grand Prix contest, violinist Alexander Rybak vomited. He reveals this and other juicy tidbits in the video below (don’t worry, the interview has English subtitles). He says that he no longer has contact with the woman he sings about in Fairytale, and he reports feeling sad that he doesn’t have “the time or the strength” to respond to all of the congratulatory texts he receives. However, he did recently respond to an 11-year old violinist who sought advice on what to do about bullies. (Ladies: text him saying you play the violin and are bullied. Include a photo. Who knows what will happen!)
